Retail Store & Marketing Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Retail Store Duties

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and by phone
  • Assist customers with product selection, questions, and purchases
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space
  • Monitor inventory levels and report restocking needs
  • Handle returns, and exchanges according to company policies
  • Open and close the store following established procedures
  • Support in-store promotions, sales events, and product launches
Marketing & Promotion Duties
  • Create and schedule social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Assist with planning and executing in-store and online promotions
  • Update product listings and promotional materials as needed
  • Design basic marketing materials such as flyers, signage, and email campaigns
  • Capture photos and short videos of products, services and events
  • Track and report basic marketing metrics (engagement, promotions, foot traffic)
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Coordinate with management on seasonal campaigns and special offers
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in marketing or business a plus)
  • Previous retail, customer service, or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using computers, social media platforms, and basic design tools
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
