Heritage Harbor’s Memorial Day Parade will be open to the public this year. The parade will begin at 11am on Sunday, May 29th. Sit along the streets of Heritage Harbor's East and West Peninsulas while candy is tossed out throughout the neighborhoods.
There will be three convenient parking locations along Great Loop Drive for easy access to viewing locations. The parade will begin in the Pinnacle Pointe neighborhood on the East Peninsula and travel along Great Loop Drive to the West Peninsula.
This year the parade is packed with great businesses, groups, and more. You’ll be seeing Ottawa Police and Ottawa Fire Department, Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley, American Legion Post 33, Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band (Bagpipe band), Blackstock Stables, Illinois Army National Guard, Ottawa River Rescue, CASA, Farmers Insurance, Heritage Harbor Ottawa, Starved Rock Living and more. Travis Hosette as Frank Sinatra will be on a float putting on a live performance.
Come on out to Heritage Harbor to honor those who are no longer with us. For any questions about the Memorial Day Parade, contact us at 815-433-5000 ext 230 or by email at richc@heritageharborottawa.com.
