Goodwill Fashion Show & Dress Sale

Stateline Divas are gearing up for the 4th Annual Goodwill Diva Runway Fashion Show and Dress Sale.  Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois will be hosting a runway show and special occasion dress sale on April 5th through 7th, 2013.
Goodwill's Diva Runway Fashion Show will occur on Friday, April 5th at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center, 7801 East State Street in Rockford.  Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served from 7 pm to 8 pm with the fashion show following from 8 pm to 9 pm.  Local celebrity models will show off special occasion dresses that will be for sale with hundreds more, the following 2 days at the Goodwill Diva Dress Sale at all Goodwill Northern Illinois retail stores including the stores located at 501 West Stevenson Road in Ottawa!  Special occasion dresses include bridal, bridesmaid, prom, cocktail, classic little-black, mother-of-the-bride, evening gown, children's dresses and many more.  Tickets to the fashion show are $30 for adults and $15 for guests 18 years and younger.  Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased at www.goodwillni.org/DIVA or by calling (815) 987-6237.
Proceeds from the event will help fund area community college scholarships that allow local students the opportunity to attain an education and valuable work skills and experiences.  The scholarship funds are:

• The Jon Lundin Scholarship - awarded to students interested in the manufacturing industry
• The DoAnn Geiger Scholarship - awarded to people with a disability who wish to continue their education
