Earth Day at the Book Mouse
This Saturday, April 17, at the Book Mouse, we are celebrating spring and Earth Day! The event is kicked off with a special Earth Day-themed Toddler Time. Join Nana Jan and special guest Rachel Henry as they read Earth Day books: Little Critter It's Earth Day, Michael Recycle, Fancy Nancy Everyday is Earth Day, Plant a Rainbow, and Curious George Plants a Tree.
After Toddler Time the Earth Day fun continues. We will make Lorax puppets and talk about ways to save our planet. There may be a special reading of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax by members of the Ottawa High School Drama Club directed by Orion Lovell and starring Rebecca Hettrick as the Lorax.
