At this event, we recognize our volunteers and longstanding members and provide an overview of our successes for 2007.  This year, we will be presenting our Chairman's Awards to three businesses that are leading the way for environmental awareness and change, in honor of our theme for 2008 (and beyond), Go Green Today for a Greater Tomorrow.

 

Our keynote address will be given by, Dr. David Kohl, Professor Emeritus of Agricultural Technology for Virginia Tech.  He is an inspiring and engaging speaker on the topic of, Agriculture in the 21st Century.

 

At the end of the evening, we present our Ambasador of the Year Award and our most prestigious honor, the Leo Parkerson Award, recognizing an individual or organization for their significant contributions of time and resources for the betterment of our community.
