The Spring Ride South Event will kick-off with a pig roast/benefit on Thursday, May 13,2010 at the K of C Hall in Ottawa. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. /Dinner at 6:00 pm. with music and dancing by the Mavericks from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Silent Auction items, 50/50 drawing and other raffle items.
The ride to Tennessee begins on Saturday, May 15,2010 with the destination will be Louisville, Kentucky. On Sunday, May 16,2010 plans are to head to Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. The "Tail of the Dragon" is scheduled for Monday, May 17,2010, which consists of an eleven-mile ride with 318 curves. Then on Tuesday, May 18th all will enjoy the ride up to the Clingmans Dome in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. On Wednesday, May 19th riders will start to head west for home, stopping in Louisville over night. All proceeds from the event will go to Easter Seals of LaSalle & Bureau Counties.
